We’ve upgraded the Library website!
We’re excited to share that the Library website has had a much-needed upgrade! Over the last few months, we’ve been reviewing our web content to ensure you’re getting the most relevant, up-to-date information. We’ve also been restructuring our web content to improve the user experience, so you can easily find the information you need when you need it.
So, what’s actually changed?
We’ve shifted web content from the Library’s CMS (Content Management System) onto the CMS which hosts the University’s main website. We’ve also refreshed and restructured our content to ensure that it’s current, findable and easy to navigate.
How will this affect me?
- Library content now looks and feels more like the content on the main University website.
- Any Te Tumu Herenga | Libraries and Learning Services content that you have bookmarked will automatically redirect to the corresponding new webpage.
- Some of the content which used to be hosted under the Library website has moved to a more intuitive location on the wider University website. For example, facility information about Library and Information Commons is now hosted under the University ‘Facilities and Services’ menu.
- We have made some changes to the menus on the Library homepage, which should make it easier for you to find the things you use most frequently. If you cannot find a page that you used to access via the Library homepage menus, please type the subject of the page you are looking for into the search bar at the top of the page.
I am having trouble finding something, what can I do?
We hope this doesn’t happen, but if you are struggling to find content that you used to find on our Library website, please get in touch via Ask Us or see one of our friendly Student Hubs staff with your question.
